Each whipped body butter that I offer is as unique as the butters and oils from which they are made. Unrefined shea butter is naturally healing and contains vitamins and minerals that nourish and soften the skin. It melts readily on your skin, but leaves an oily feel until it is fully absorbed a few minutes later. Golden cocoa butter not only moisturizes and leaves a light water barrier, it also imparts a pleasant and light chocolate scent. Mango butter is highly moisturizing and is high in antioxidants. In smaller proportions I also use illipe and macadamia nut. All of these are known to be easily absorbed and moisturizing. Each of these butters has a distinctive feel and effect on the skin. My whipped body butters contain no water, no emulsifiers and no preservatives. They fell clean and fresh on your skin, but they need proper storage to retain their initial textures. The body butters need to be stored in a cool, dark and dry location. The butters start to melt at about 80 degees F. As they melt, the lotion will lose its airy texture, but the properties will be retained. Shipment during the summer months is highly discouraged. High temperatures during shipment will cause the lotion to melt. Minimizing the shipping time will help, but the lotion may need to be placed in the refrigerator for a short period of time before using and will never regain its texture. I have found that even storage in the bathroom can cause the butter's texture to change. The frequent high temperatures and high humidity are to blame. You may not even notice the change if the lotion is used frquently.
